Simplay.
Restaurant operations, simplified. Reservations, table management, staff scheduling, and customer relationships — built for independent restaurants and small chains, not enterprise franchises. Currently in development with a target beta in the second half of 2026.
Restaurants run on duct tape. We’re building something better.
Most independent restaurants run on a stack: a reservation tool, a POS, a scheduling app, a spreadsheet for inventory, a separate system for customer data, and a manager who keeps it all connected with sticky notes and group texts. It works until it doesn’t.
Simplay is being built to collapse that stack. One workspace where reservations, tables, staff schedules, and customer history live together — with the same database under all of it. The reservation that came in this morning is the same record your server sees tonight is the same record your manager reviews in next week’s regulars report.
Built on the same SimpleSuite foundation that runs the rest of the RSD platform, with industry-specific surfaces tailored to how a restaurant actually operates — not how a generic CRM thinks a restaurant should operate.
From discovery to live restaurants.
Four-stage roadmap. Currently in discovery — talking to operators, mapping workflows, validating what’s missing in the existing tools.
Discovery
Operator interviews, workflow mapping, identifying which existing-tool gaps actually hurt and which are just noise.
Build
Core product development. Reservations and table management first; staff scheduling and customer relationships second.
Beta
Closed beta with five to ten partner restaurants. Real workflows, real shifts, real failure modes — we want the product battle-tested before public launch.
Launch
Public availability. Onboarding playbook for new restaurants. Pricing announced. Ongoing development based on what the beta cohort taught us.
Want early access?
If you run an independent restaurant or small chain and want to be part of the closed beta in Q4 2026, we want to talk. Beta partners get the product free for the first year and direct input on what gets built.
